Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Project Manager is responsible for planning and managing product improvement and development projects to meet objectives in terms of time, cost, and quality.
This position requires strong organizational skills, technical rigor, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams to achieve set goals.
This is a full-time, on-site position based at our head office in Vaudreuil-Dorion.
Responsibilities
- Manage and plan tasks within product improvement and development projects involving multidisciplinary teams to achieve time and budget objectives.
- Prepare all documentation related to product improvement and development processes (specifications, DFMEA, analyses, test reports, quotations, requisitions, product release, product documentation, etc.) in accordance with established procedures.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of engineering processes and tools.
- Ensure compliance with the company’s safety and quality standards.
Experience and Requirements
College diploma or equivalent in a relevant technical field or in product management, such as electrical engineering (programmable electronics or automation), electronics, physics engineering, avionics, or industrial maintenance.Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (experience in the healthcare sector is an asset).Proficiency with project tracking and documentation tools (Gantt, Excel, Word).Knowledge of SolidWorks and PDM (Product Data Management) — an asset.Strong interest in mobility assistive products.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Fluency in French (spoken and written) and intermediate English proficiency.Profile
