Position : French Content Writer / Editor

Location : Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec (2 days / week in the office Flexible hybrid work policy)

Status : Permanent, full-time position (1)

Following a complete redesign of our website, several large-scale internal projects related to our employer brand, and the support of corporate events, we are looking for a dynamic and competent professional to join our communications and marketing team as a French Content Writer / Editor .

You will play a crucial role in creating captivating French content to support internal and external communications, marketing strategies and internal documentation.

You will have the opportunity to work on major projects that will contribute to the very essence of the Quadra brand, and the deployment of large-scale projects both externally and internally.

What would be your main responsibilities as French Content Writer / Editor? :

• Write engaging and impactful French content for use in internal and external communications, marketing strategies, and internal documentation
• Translate and adapt various texts created in English to produce French versions that accurately reflect the original meaning and tone
• Collaborate in the design and creation of content for various projects
• Proofread and edit content while respecting specific styles
• Contribute to the development of communication plans using various mediums and platforms (intranet, website, social media, press releases, etc.)
• Revise and ensure the quality of communications and translations produced by other contributors
• Work collaboratively with various internal departments to support communication efforts and ensure consistency in French style and terminology (sales, human resources, quality / regulatory affairs, marketing, etc.)

What are we looking for in terms of previous experience to have success in this position?

• Bachelor's degree in communications, Translation, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
• At least 3 years' experience writing and editing French content for diverse audiences
• Bilingual proficiency in both French and English, with expert level of French being a must
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and supporting communication initiatives
• Familiarity with various communication mediums and platforms
• Good marketing sense; a creative, sales-oriented side that makes your texts stand out from the crowd!
• Excellent time management, project management and ability to work to tight deadlines
• Comfortable working in a technologically advanced environment and excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
