Data Entry Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Steinbach, Manitoba. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately inputting and managing data while ensuring information remains organized and secure. Responsibilities :

• Accurately enter and update data into spreadsheets, databases, and other record-keeping systems.
• Verify and review information for accuracy and completeness to maintain data integrity.
• Organize and manage both electronic and physical files for efficient access and retrieval.
• Respond to requests for data or reports, providing timely and clear information to stakeholders.
• Adhere to company protocols to ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
• Perform calculations and data checks to validate entries and ensure consistency.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline data processes and improve efficiency.
• Utilize scanning equipment and tools to digitize physical documents for storage.
• Handle email correspondence related to data inquiries and administrative tasks.
• Maintain an organized workspace to ensure smooth handling of files and records.
• Proficiency in typing and 10-key skills to ensure fast and accurate data entry.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word for managing spreadsheets and documents.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage and maintain files effectively.
• Ability to perform calculations accurately and efficiently when required.
• Experience with scanning and digitizing documents for electronic storage.
• Customer service skills to respond professionally to data inquiries.
• Strong email correspondence skills for clear communication with stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data integrity.
