Description : Position Summary :

Under general supervision of the Executive Director, Annual and Leadership Giving (ALG) and collaborating with other members of the ALG team, the incumbent helps to develop and implement strategies to promote annual and leadership giving from alumni, faculty, staff and friends by building on existing fundraising programs and establishing new ones. The incumbent is responsible for program development and analysis, new program development and expansion of direct marketing and new media as related to ALG mass engagement strategies.

Qualifications Required :

Education :

  • A University degree, or an equivalent combination of education with advancement experience is required.

Experience :

  • Minimum eight  (8) years recent and related experience working on all aspects of annual and leadership giving campaign planning and execution.
  • Deep familiarity with ALG and advancement processes in a university or not-for profit environment.
  • Experience working with senior advancement and senior divisional leadership.
  • Candidates having a marketing communication or public relations background will also be considered.
  • Must have proven leadership ability and demonstrated project management experience.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Skills :

  • Demonstrated interest and experience in development or in university advancement; an effective proven project manager.
  • Sound judgment and initiative; intelligent and discriminating analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated management experience; organizational strength.
  • Superior writing skills; excellent interpersonal skills.
