Sanding Technician

Are you detail‑oriented, hands‑on, and take pride in producing high-quality work? Grinyer Interior Doors & Closets is seeking a dedicated Sander to join our production team in Cambridge, ON.

As a Sander, you’ll play a critical role in preparing our custom interior doors and closet components for finishing. You’ll work with modern tools in a clean, organized facility, helping ensure every product that leaves our shop looks flawless and ready for installation.

Job Description

What You’ll Do

• Sand wood and MDF components by hand and with power tools to achieve a smooth, professional finish
• Inspect materials for imperfections and prepare surfaces for priming or painting
• Follow sanding and quality control processes to meet company standards
• Maintain sanding equipment and keep work area clean and safe
• Work closely with the production and finishing teams to ensure timely workflow
• Assist in other finishing and production tasks as needed

• Experience
• 1+ year of experience in sanding, woodworking, cabinetry, or a similar trade (preferred but not required)
• Requirements
• Ability to use hand and power sanding tools safely
• Familiarity with surface preparation and finishing standards
• Clean criminal background check

Schedule

• Monday to Thursday (10 hr days)
