The Nurse Practitioner in Charge provides and oversees day-to-day clinical services of the inpatient team on a unit caring for adult patients.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Unit.

Qualifications
Education : Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited graduate school.
Experience : Clinical experience in the treatment of acute psychiatric illness in inpatient settings preferred
License / Certification : Board certification in psychiatric / mental health advanced practice nursing (CNS or NP)
A current, active, unrestricted licensure as a Massachusetts CNS or NP with prescriptive authority
All employees must possess basic computer skills to use a variety of electronic or online systems for communication, clinical and administrative purposes
Required to complete electronic medical records training, and demonstrate 80% accuracy on competency test within 30 days of hire.
