About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Executive to drive growth and expansion in Canada and the USA. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and business development within the tech industry, strong emotional intelligence, and the ability to build lasting client relationships. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing company and make a tangible impact on the future of AI-powered data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting :
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
Strategic Planning :
Develop and execute long-term business development strategies aligned with company growth goals.
Negotiation & Deal Closing :
Lead negotiations with potential clients, ensuring favorable terms and successfully closing deals.
Collaboration :
Work closely with sales, marketing, project managers and delivery teams to align strategies and ensure seamless execution.
Revenue Growth :
Performance Tracking :
Monitor key metrics, provide regular updates to leadership, and make data-driven decisions.
Client Relationship Management :
Maintain ongoing client satisfaction by managing relationships post-deal and ensuring sustained success.
Innovation :
Recommend new products, services, and solutions to enhance the company’s competitive positioning.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
Proven ability to drive business growth and close deals in the tech industry.
Strong storytelling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Experience with Salesforce CRM, Slack, Google Suite, and Apollo.
Bilingual in English and French (oral and written).
Analytical mindset with experience in forecasting.
Self-starter who thrives in autonomous, fast-paced environments.
