Reporting to the Area Manager, Senior Health, you will be in a crucial role supporting patient care. As Manager, you will be the backbone of our facility, exercising autonomy to lead and manage a dedicated team. You will have a strong emphasis on service delivery, enhance workflow, and successfully lead our Long‑Term Care department. You will possess demonstrated skills in decision‑making, coaching, mentoring, teaching, and the ability to motivate, inspire, and build confidence in others. You will bring a passion for resident‑ and family‑centered care, advocating for residents while working to meet their needs and those of their families.
You will be responsible and accountable for direction, team leadership, and organization over the activities of the facility, as well as supporting the vision, mission, and business plan of Assisted Living Alberta. The Manager is also responsible for developing and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders, facilitating change management, promoting team development and teamwork, and coordinating staffing and clinical work.
