The Good Spirit School Division Invites applications for Substitute Teachers

Substitute teachers are called in as required when a permanent employee is absent. Individuals work flexible assignments to support the operational needs of schools in various locations throughout our division. These individuals ensure the students "come first" and have the support they need to create a positive, friendly and safe learning environment.

The successful applicant will have the following knowledge, skills, abilities and educational background :

• Must hold or be eligible for a Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate
• Experience with and understanding of :
• Student Well-Being
• Building and Fostering Relationship
• Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment
• A Reflective Practitioner
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• A high degree of emotional intelligence combined with a growth mindset
• Indigenous conciliation and technology integration

Once an application is reviewed, applicants who receive preliminary approval will be sent a letter requesting a Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check from their local police detachment.
