Job description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented

Accounting Manager   to oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, ensure the accuracy of financial reports, and lead the preparation of year-end financial statements. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical accounting expertise, and a commitment to maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

Day-to-Day Operations

  • Manage and oversee daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll processing.
  • Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, ensuring accuracy and prompt resolution of discrepancies.
  • Supervise and support the accounting team in meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure the timely preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial performance analysis.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather information necessary for accurate and meaningful reporting.
  • Year-End and Compliance

  • Lead the preparation of year-end financial statements and supporting schedules for audits.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to ensure a smooth and successful audit process.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal tax regulations, including the preparation and submission of tax filings.
  • Identify and address any accounting or compliance issues proactively.
  • Leadership and Process Improvement

  • Train, mentor, and manage the accounting team, fostering professional development and a collaborative work environment.
  • Evaluate existing accounting processes and systems; recommend and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements and ensure the company remains compliant.
  • Requirements

    Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities, with a proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
