We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
Accounting Manager to oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, ensure the accuracy of financial reports, and lead the preparation of year-end financial statements. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical accounting expertise, and a commitment to maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
Day-to-Day Operations
- Manage and oversee daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll processing.
- Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, ensuring accuracy and prompt resolution of discrepancies.
- Supervise and support the accounting team in meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
- Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Financial Reporting
Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.Ensure the timely preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial performance analysis.Collaborate with other departments to gather information necessary for accurate and meaningful reporting.Year-End and Compliance
Lead the preparation of year-end financial statements and supporting schedules for audits.Coordinate with external auditors to ensure a smooth and successful audit process.Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal tax regulations, including the preparation and submission of tax filings.Identify and address any accounting or compliance issues proactively.Leadership and Process Improvement
Train, mentor, and manage the accounting team, fostering professional development and a collaborative work environment.Evaluate existing accounting processes and systems; recommend and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements and ensure the company remains compliant.Requirements
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax regulations.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and leadership abilities, with a proven ability to manage and motivate a team.Benefits
