About the Role :

Join Gates Insurance Agency Limited as a Receptionist / Front Desk and be the welcoming face of our dynamic team in New Minas, NS. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys helping others. You'll play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive exceptional service from the moment they walk through the door.

Responsibilities :

Greet and assist clients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor.

Manage incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate staff members.

Schedule and confirm appointments for clients and staff.

Maintain an organized front desk and waiting area, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

Handle client inquiries and provide information about our insurance products and services.

Process mail and manage office supplies inventory efficiently.

Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry and filing.

Collaborate with team members to enhance overall client experience.

Requirements :

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration is a plus.

Proven experience in a receptionist or front desk role, preferably in the insurance industry.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic office equipment.

Detail-oriented with a customer-focused mindset.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Positive attitude and professional appearance are essential.
