The Power Platform Solutions Architect articulates what is possible for customers to transform their business. Working with a sales team at Softchoice, you will architect Power Platform solutions to enable a modern workplace and represent Softchoice as a top North American solutions provider by unlocking customers’ potential to be future-ready through technology. You will have a canvas to display ideas and proven successes to help our customers.
What You’ll Do
- Technical presales role supporting both the sales and solution architecture teams.
- Lead the presales and design of cloud platform solutions for customers.
- Collaborate with IT leadership to ensure success of strategic IT initiatives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to current and future customers, providing technical expertise and recommendations to solve IT challenges.
- Architect end-to-end solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, AI Builder, Dataverse and Copilot Studio.
- Be well-versed in Power Platform COE to support and guide customers.
- Translate business needs into scalable, secure, and performant Power Platform solutions.
- Define architectural best practices, security models, and governance frameworks.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Azure, Dynamics 365, and third-party services.
- Support data modeling, performance tuning, and troubleshooting for existing and new apps.
- Provide technical leadership and guide solution architects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and present solution concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Travel between US and Canada as required.
What You’ll Bring To The Table
Advanced knowledge and technical experience developing and architecting Power Platform solutions.Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate, Power Pages, AI Builder, COE).Experience building technical solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate, Power Pages, Power BI, Power Fx).Technical expertise in solution deployment strategies, Power Platform Pipelines, Azure DevOps – CD-CI, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Dataverse plug-ins.Proven ability to distill technical concepts into clear language for unfamiliar audiences.Strong critical thinking with attention to both big picture and detail.Aptitude for learning new technologies and sharing knowledge with teammates.Understanding of data governance, security roles, and Power Platform admin best practices.Strong client-facing communication skills.Ability to draft customer-facing statements of work (SOW).5 years’ work experience with increasing responsibility in technical environments.Preferred Qualifications
Software development experience.Experience re-writing and re-engineering custom legacy applications to Power Apps solutions.Technical certifications related to Microsoft Power Platform.Proficiency with Dataverse API, XRMToolbox, Postman, JavaScript, Relational Databases, SharePoint Online, AI Builder, Azure AI, and Scrum.Strong knowledge of Power Automate (Cloud Flows, Desktop) and Power BI.Experience with Copilot Studio and Azure DevOps, solution packaging, and ALM.SQL, Power Fx, JSON, RESTful APIs, Graph API.Experience in MS Teams SDK framework.Bonus : Knowledge of MS Syntax; Bonus : Familiarity with Copilot Studio integrations with Power Platform and Graph / 3rd party connectors.Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role in Ontario is $96,080 - $153,720. This range represents the full pay range for the position, and individual offers consider factors such as experience and geography. In addition to base salary, the role may include additional compensation (cell allowances, annual bonus, commissions) and a comprehensive benefits plan.
