Marcus Evans is a global firm employing 1500 people across 48 offices. We have over 40 years of experience providing our clients the information, insights, and connections they need to grow their business. Through our flagship Summits, we bring together C-suite executives through strategic one-on-one meetings between buyers and sellers. We work with world leaders from 98% of the Fortune 1000 across industries such as healthcare, finance, energy, and law.

We are searching for an Account Executive to develop new accounts and manage client relationships. A successful candidate will develop into a Senior Account Executive and then Sales Manager after achieving initial milestones. We recognize excellence and are fully committed to developing impactful future leaders. This is an in-person role located in our Laval office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generating and prospecting new leads to create book of business.
  • Contacting, qualifying, and engaging prospects through email, LinkedIn, and cold calling.
  • Negotiating and closing contracts with C-level decision makers by learning about their growth goals and converting that intelligence into business opportunities.
  • Keeping an organized record of sales activity and pipeline on HubSpot.
  • Nurturing new and existing client relationships.
  • Traveling to 5-star resorts across North America to take care of clients.
  • Acting on behalf of the company and our clients in the delivery of our exceptional products and services.

Qualifications

  • Sales experience: 1 year of B2B or B2C sales experience.
  • Prospecting and outreach experience: Experience cold calling C-level executives. Experience creating and launching strategic marketing email campaigns.
  • Exceptional listening and questioning skills: Successful candidates understand emotional intelligence and tactical empathy.
  • Strong hunter mentality through disciplined KPIs plus farmer ability to nurture and develop relationships. Both are crucial to success in this role.
  • Pipeline management ability: Research, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Leadership: We promote 100% from within and actively develop top performers into successful leaders.
  • Compensation and earnings: $74,000 minimum earnings after 3-month training period. First year OTE $90,000-$110,000. Second year OTE $110,000-$150,000.
  • Hands-on mentorship and continual training: one-on-one coaching, tape training, and role play; access to a sales tape library and e-learning system.
  • Manager-in-Training program to support and develop aspiring leaders.
  • Business travel to 5-star resorts in locations such as Beverly Hills, Miami, Boston, and Las Vegas.
