Job description

Title : Pricing and Logistics Specialist

Location : Ville St Laurent

Industry : Freight Forwarding

Salary : $60k - $65k

A leading logistics company is seeking a Pricing Coordinator to join their dynamic team. You will work directly with the Director of Pricing and Procurement at their Ville Saint-Laurent office. This position offers a great opportunity to contribute to pricing management, supply chain optimization, and continuous improvement of logistics processes.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the single point of contact for network bids, sales, existing customers, RFP / RFIs
  • Responsible for receiving, distributing, and communicating with all relevant parties
  • Initiate requests with carriers, vendors, origin / destination offices, and other service providers
  • Manage all functions, deadlines, and necessary steps for bid responses and submissions
  • Complete all bid documentation or ensure that the responsible parties do so
  • Review client requests and prepare sales rate quotes
  • Provide assistance to improve products and services
  • Research, manage, and communicate with supplier partners for the following : (logistical solutions; service delivery and cost calculation, price negotiations with various carriers, completion of quote request forms, transmission of customer service issues to the appropriate departments).
  • Work with sales, operations, and customer service to ensure proper and adequate transitions for new and / or existing activities.

    • Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in pricing in logistics sector
  • Experience in air and sea logistics – import / export.
  • Strong skills in using Excel and other MS Office applications are required.
  • Basic knowledge of customs regulations (AMPS, B13, ACI, CSI...) is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize the assigned workload effectively.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
