Installation Coordinator
Under the supervision of the Installation Team Leader, the Installation Coordinator will organize, supervise and implement the mechanical and electrical installation in the factory and on our customer sites.
He or she will also support the various engineering teams to successfully complete the project. He or she will have to demonstrate resourcefulness and a good analytical mind to propose and implement mechanical and electrical solutions during the installation and commissioning of our equipment.
Responsibilities on customer site :
- Supervise external mechanical and electrical installation resources;
- Be responsible for the smooth running, delivery and quality of our mechanical and electrical installations;
- Communicate and interact with the customer throughout the installation;
- Update and communicate working documents to monitor the progress of the installation remotely;
- Support the commissioning team during system startup;
- Diagnose and propose solutions to the project team to successfully complete the installation;
- Customize mechanical parts required for the progress of projects (if necessary, on customer site);
- Respect and ensure monitoring of the customer's health and safety requirements and standards.
Responsibilities at NūMove :
- Be responsible for factory installation and dismantling for installation on the customer site :
- Technical support for assemblers;
- Supervise and execute mechanical, pneumatic and electrical installation.
- Support the execution of the various shipping documents;
- Participate in the planning and scheduling of our mechanical and electrical installations;
- Participate in the production of the "dismantling scope of work" and "installation scope of work" documents as well as work closely with engineering to integrate the technical details as well as production recommendations;
- Organize the tools necessary for the smooth running of our facilities;
- Work closely with engineering and control people in their needs regarding workshop tests :
- Make the necessary adjustments for the smooth running of tests;
- Make one-off modifications to optimize the system.
- Participate in the production of various assemblies and equipment and carry out the mechanical and electrical production of robotic equipment;
- Organize the floor space to ensure adequate and efficient work;
- Respect and ensure monitoring of the health and safety standards established by NūMove;
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of our equipment and tools;
- Carry out any other related tasks (building support, etc.).
Qualifications / Requirements :
- Be available to travel outside the country for an annual frequency of a minimum of four times, and for a duration of 1 day to 4 weeks, for a total of approximately 16 to 20 weeks per year;
- Hold a DEC in electromechanics or an equivalent diploma;
- Have 5 years of experience in a similar position;
- Hold a forklift driver's license;
- Hold a valid driver's license and passport and no travel restrictions;
- Experience in industrial automation and machine manufacturing (asset);
- Perfect knowledge of French;
- Functional English, given the nature of the position, interaction with our customers in the United States and English Canada;
- Good knowledge of computers and the Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook);
- Knowledge of machining (an asset).
