Program Purpose

Dyno Nobel Canada Inc. is implementing a Labourer Trainee Program (the “Program”) designed to increase the number women employed in its Retail Sales & Operations sites in Bedford, Nova Scotia. Women have been historically underrepresented in mining and explosives industries, and the Program is intended to provide entry level opportunities to women who might not otherwise apply for current vacancies. No formal experience is required and training will be provided to all participant employees.

• Good work habits and a positive attitude
• Ability to read, write and speak English and to communicate in writing and verbally
• Present oneself in a professional manner while working
• Ability to pass required background screening
