Parts Supervisor

We are working with a well-established organization in the manufacturing and power generation equipment industry that is seeking an experienced Parts Supervisor to join their team. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels in leadership, and has a strong background in parts, shipping/receiving, and inventory management within a manufacturing or equipment parts setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the parts team, ensuring strong collaboration, efficiency, and adherence to company standards.
• Oversee daily parts department operations including order processing, shipping and receiving, inventory accuracy, and vendor relations.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment by implementing and sustaining 5S best practices.
• Utilize ERP systems to manage parts, monitor stock levels, and track procurement activities.
• Work closely with manufacturing and service teams to ensure timely availability of parts to meet project and client needs.
• Coordinate shipping and receiving activities while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Analyze parts usage, forecast requirements, and optimize inventory control to support operational efficiency.
• Identify process improvements and implement solutions that enhance accuracy, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a parts, inventory, or warehouse leadership role within manufacturing, equipment, or power generation industries.
• Proven leadership abilities with experience managing and developing teams.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or similar) for parts and inventory management.
• Hands-on expertise in shipping/receiving procedures, inventory control, and supply chain processes.
• Well-versed in the 5S model and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
