Overview : We are seeking a highly experienced Salesforce Project Manager (PM) to lead Salesforce implementation and enhancement projects for our banking client in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce CRM , project management in an agile environment, and experience working in the banking or financial services industry. This is a hybrid role that requires 3 days a week in the office, with flexibility for remote work the remaining days.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage Salesforce projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring they meet business objectives, timelines, and budgets.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans , timelines, and resource allocation.
- Oversee the Salesforce implementation process, including system configuration, customization, integration, and user training.
- Ensure Salesforce projects align with the organization’s business goals, regulatory requirements, and customer experience standards.
- Manage project risks, issues, and changes, and provide solutions to address challenges as they arise.
- Regularly communicate project status, milestones, and potential delays to senior management and stakeholders.
- Track and monitor the performance of Salesforce solutions post-implementation, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance and leadership to project teams, promoting collaboration and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards.
- Implement agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to ensure efficient project delivery.
Skills and Qualifications :
5+ years of experience in Salesforce project management , preferably within the banking or financial services industry.Proven track record of managing Salesforce implementations , enhancements, and integrations.Strong understanding of Salesforce CRM , including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and other Salesforce products.Experience with agile methodologies and project management frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Experience with Salesforce integrations (API, middleware, third-party apps) is a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex project issues.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Salesforce Certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, etc.) are preferred.Familiarity with JIRA , Trello , or similar project management tools.Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance issues related to CRM systems is an advantage.Education & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Business Administration , or a related field.5+ years of experience in Salesforce project management , with at least 2+ years of experience managing large-scale projects.PMP, Scrum Master, or other project management certifications are an asset.
