Job description

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time skilled Industrial Mechanic (3rd and and 4th year Millwright Apprentices ) to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair machinery and mechanical equipment in an industrial setting. Ideally, you will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with a variety of equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.

  • Pay Rate : $37.34 - $43.00 / hour
  • Location : Prince Rupert, BC (onsite)
  • Shifts : 12-hour shifts ( 4 on 4 off) from 5 : 30 AM to 5 : 30 PM or 5 : 30 PM to 5 : 30 AM, occasional evenings and weekends
  • Job type : Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities :

  • Undertake the preventive maintenance of industrial equipment and infrastructures.
  • Ensure the timely and effective repairs and adjustments related to industrial equipment.
  • Fabricate parts for industrial equipment.
  • Register maintenance information using the appropriate systems.
  • Provide thorough and accurate feedback to all departments regarding pending maintenance.
  • Actively manage the inventory of available parts and components.

    • Qualifications :

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
  • Red Seal Certification or
  • Registered 3rd or 4th Year Millwright Apprentice working toward Red Seal certification.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience required.
  • Must possess personal tools.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check is required.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license.
