Responsibilities
- Provide the IT organization with a technical expertise in embedded systems engineering to promote the automation of the operations by developing, testing and integrating automated machinery, robotics and computer-controlled mechanical systems across Intelcom's network.
- Implement the R&D workflow, that is to say :
- o Explore and help define new opportunities for innovation by promoting automation of the operations across the organization;
- o Investigate each opportunity of innovation by developing prototypes and proof of concept;
- o Evaluate the feasibility of each opportunity of innovation by analyzing KPI and by validating initial assumptions vs the results obtained;
- o Support the transition of opportunities of innovation from a proof of concept into Intelcom's production environment;
o Implement a continuous improvement process.
Conduct investigation on new technologies and methodologies and make recommendations that could improve the overall performance of the organization.Present projects and findings and support the transition of new technologies from a prototype to a production environment.Produce documentation and contribute to the development of Intelcom's knowledge base.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Software or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).Minimum of 3 years of development and maintenance experience with embedded systems.Working experience with Agile delivery teams.Bilingual French and English is preferred.Intelcom is a leading last-mile carrier in the e-commerce sector.
