• Adhere to company health environment and safety policies
• Attend classroom training as required and complete a recognized apprenticeship framework to a high standard
• Ensure and maintain the health safety and welfare of themselves and others in the workplace
• Attend daily toolbox and safety meetings as scheduled
• Ensure all documentation is completed as required
• Follow a set rotation and training plan in the workplace
• Prepare heavy equipment or essential responsibilities for repair
• Identify and order parts to complete repair
• Cleaning of equipment pre- and post- repair
• Carry out repairs modifications rebuilds servicing maintenance under Journeyman supervision
• Maintaining the workshop areas and keep work bays clean and well-organized
• Any other task or project as required to suit business needs as directed by manger or supervisor

• Basic knowledge of electrical hydraulic pneumatic and mechanical components
• Already enrolled or will enroll in a Heavy Equipment Parts program
• Demonstrated diagnostic and troubleshooting skills component exchange repair and warranty related activities
• Ability to read and understand schematics and technical drawings
• You are able to effectively communicate detailed and complex information in a clear and concise manner
• You are self-motivated with the ability to carry out task as directed
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office suite
