Job Title : Production Planning Manager
Reports to : Plant Manager / General Manager
Department : Production
Purpose and Scope : The Production Planning Manager will be responsible for ensuring best practices in demand planning, inventory planning, production planning, and supply planning. This role will play a key role in business growth and inventory reduction strategies.
The key responsibility of this role is to analyze data from financial analysts and previous years' data to forecast current, future, and incoming demand. This will involve collaborating with financial analysts to gather and interpret data, reviewing historical trends to identify patterns and anomalies, and developing accurate forecasts to inform production planning.
The successful candidate will then create comprehensive plans and layouts to meet anticipated demand, designing and implementing efficient production workflows and resource allocation.
