We’re looking for a Shop Manager who will be leading a team in our brand-new store in Cornerstone Mall (Okotoks) . You will be shaping the success of our new store and leaving your mark on its growth journey. This is a Contract position that may become permanent, the hours are estimated to be up to 40 hours per week. This individual will report to the District Manager.

Job Overview : This position serves as a liaison between the shop and the Purdys Support Office and positively supports its policies, programs and initiatives. You will be responsible for achieving overall profitability, maintaining efficient shop operations, and providing effective leadership and management to the retail team. Your success in this role will come from your ability to engage with customers, drive sales, and work in a team environment.

You will have the opportunity to :

• Achieving profit goals by using your sales drive
• Providing Customer Service through leadership by example, training, coaching, motivating, managing and scheduling others
• Selecting new members, training and developing existing team members
• Building a strong team by using counselling, disciplining, and providing written performance reviews
• C ontrolling inventory levels of product and supplies to meet daily requirements
