Business Systems Analyst

Salary: $65,000 - $80,000

Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst whos curious, hands-on, and excited to learn. You will be responsible for analyzing and improving our IT systems, working closely with the business to ensure our systems effectively support retail operations. You will play a key role in ensuring seamless integration and optimization of technology to improve business processes, customer experience, and overall operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:

• Partner with cross-functional teams (retail operations, merchandising, marketing, and operations) to gather and document business requirements, and support system updates, and continuous improvements.
• Ensure all existing functionality, integrations, and reconciliations are preserved and maintained.
• Work hands-on with the configuration, integration, testing, and rollout of retail systems such as POS, inventory, ERP, and related tools.
• Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate that system changes meet business needs
• Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with different stakeholders or vendors to resolve them
• Monitor system performance and help identify opportunities for small enhancements or improvements
• Document workflows, system processes, and updates to support consistency and knowledge sharing
• Support reporting and data accuracy by validating system outputs and helping maintain standard reports
• Provide first-level user support, answer basic system questions, and help with training materials
• Support system-related projects by helping track tasks, document requirements, and assist with implementation activities
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in a business systems analyst role, preferably in the retail or fashion industry.
• Experience with Netsuite ERP and retail eCommerce systems (e.g. Shopify) is a must.
• Experience documenting requirements and supporting system testing
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work on the technical side, not just business requirements
• A strong willingness to learn, take ownership, and figure things out in a startup environment
