Our practice is proud to support Shelburne and the surrounding communities with accessible, patient-centered care. We provide evening and weekend hours to fit busy schedules, and our friendly, knowledgeable staff is committed to making every appointment welcoming and stress‑free

Schedule:

Full Time Hours: Monday - Friday

**Candidate must be willing to travel to two locations**

Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM - DDS Collingwood

Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM - DDS Collingwood

Thursday: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM - Shelburne Smile Centre

Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM - Shelburne Smile Centre

The wage for this DentalAssistantposition is$$depending on skills, experience, and location.

Your Role:

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment

• Assistdentists and hygienists during treatments,maintainingpatient comfort and workflow

• Take dental X-rays and digital images asrequired

• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards

• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care

• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks

• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care

• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines

• Establish strong patient relationships whilemaintainingethical professional behaviour

About You:

• Registered and/orCertified as aDental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or associationisrequired

• Previousdentalassistingexperience is preferred
