Promotion, consultation and sales presentation of the company’s cladding & masonry façade, thermal and moistureprotection, and fastening hardware products to specifiers and specification influencers in architectural design community
Identifying market trends and maintain awareness of competitive activity in exterior cladding and general building envelope
Project opportunity tracking and management with sales group and strategic suppliers
Participate in industry applicable associations and trade shows
Attend training and seminars to develop knowledge of Cladding and Building Envelope Systems
Attend CSC (Construction Specifications Canada) meetings, seminars and events and acquire the CTR designation withintwo years
You bring :
5 years in the architectural specifications field with knowledge and understanding of cladding and architectural façade, andgeneral building envelope
Certified Technical Representative (CTR) Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Power Point) with workingknowledge of CRM systems
BS / BA in a related discipline. Generally 5-8 years of experience in arelated field OR MS / MA and generally 3-5 years of experience in a related field.Certification is required in some areas.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for architecture and design, strong sales skills, and a proven track record of exceeding targets.
Proven experience in sales, preferably in the architectural, masonry or construction industry.
Strong understanding of architectural design principles and products
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Willingness to travel within Canada and in the US as needed
What's in it for you :
Salary Range : $65,000 to $75000 annually, Negotiable commensurate with candidate's experience
Eligibility for monthly commission (no cap)
Eligibility for a growth target bonus incentive that is paid quarterly
