We are a fast-growing cloud based firm based in Ontario that helps small and medium sized businesses make better financial and management decisions. We’re looking for Accounting Technician to our team. We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years experience in public practice who has a proven ability to multitask, organize and prioritize workload, while maintaining superior attention to detail. In addition, the successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of accountability, be reliable and adaptable and have excellent communication skills. both verbally and written.  Duties would include all aspects of preparing financial statements, year-end working papers, personal and corporate tax work and file preparation. Familiarity with CaseWare and Taxcycle would be an asset. We’re usually working closely with the business owners, and our people feel like an extended part of their teams. Because we typically do all the bookkeeping AND accounting work for our clients, the job turns out to be pretty interesting.  Working Here : This is a full-time, in-office position. Compensation-wise we typically begin paying a competitive hourly rate, depending on experience. Once you prove to be a good long term fit we can move you into a competitive annual salary.
