Job description

GFL is looking for a labourer to support our industrial line of business in Thunder Bay. The labourer must be G licensed in order to drive our sanitation / portable truck.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Delivering Portable Toilets.
  • Servicing Portable Toilets – Cleaning / Stocking units and Pumping out Sewage.
  • Maintain Work Truck & Units.
  • Dealing with Customers, Contracts and Collecting Payments.
  • Working outdoors & Working long hours.
  • Assisting with additional job duties when available.

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies :

  • Valid G license – Clean Driver’s Abstract Required.
  • Tolerate sewage smell.
  • Must be able to work Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm
  • Meet deadlines and follow directions.
  • Experienced with physical labour
  • Physically capable of maneuvering potty units.
  • Driving Experience with large trucks and pulling trailers.
  • Must be able to back up using only mirrors.
  • Trustworthy & capable to work alone.
  • Friendly & Courteous with clients.
