Under the general direction of the Service Desk Supervisor the Learning Technologies System Technician:

• Maintains Board computer hardware and software in a networked environment;

• Installs configures repairs tests and supports hardware and software;

• Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications Experience Knowledge and Skills:

• Secondary School Diploma;

• Two (2) year College diploma or certificate in a related field;

• Four (4) years of related experience;

• Proficient in Cloud Application Suites business software diagnostic tools imaging and backup solutions and help desk etc.

• Initiative excellent interpersonal organizational and communication skills;

• Excellent technical diagnostic skills;

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;

• Valid Ontario Driver Class G license and use of a personal vehicle is essential;

• Individuals who possess an equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
  
  

This is a casual position with an hourly rate of $37.56 per hour.

The effective date is approximately December 22 2025.
