The Role
We are seeking a Journeyman Automotive Mechanic (or strong 3rd Year Apprentice) who is confident in diagnosing and repairing cars and pickup trucks , with the ability to occasionally assist with commercial or mixed-fleet units . This role offers steady workflow, variety, and a well‑organized shop environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, inspect, service, and repair automotive and light‑duty vehicles
- Troubleshoot engines, drivability issues, brakes, suspension, steering, and electrical systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections
- Communicate repair needs clearly with service writers and team members
- Accurately document work completed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Assist with commercial or fleet work as required
Requirements
Journeyman Automotive Mechanic or experienced 3rd Year ApprenticeStrong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skillsValid Class 5 driver’s license (Class 3 is an asset)Own tools and required safety gearWheel alignment experience is an assetCVIP license is an asset, not requiredTeam‑oriented, reliable, and detail‑focusedWhat We Offer
