Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Plant Health Care Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about tree health and vitality and is eager to apply their skills. You\'ll play a crucial role in maintaining the health of our clients\' landscapes through expert care and sustainable practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough health assessments of trees and shrubs, identifying issues related to pests, diseases, or environmental stressors.
- Implement integrated pest management strategies to manage tree and plant health issues, minimizing environmental impact.
- Perform soil testing and analysis to determine nutrient or soil deficiencies and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
- Apply treatments such as deep root fertilization, pest control applications, and disease treatments, adhering to industry standards and Safe Tree’s best practices.
- Educate clients on best practices for tree and plant care, promoting sustainable and healthy landscapes.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in tree health care and pest management.

Experience in arboriculture, horticulture, or a related field.ISA Certified Arborist or equivalent is preferred.Strong understanding of plant health care principles, including integrated pest management, soil science, and tree biology.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Valid G class driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.Benefits
