DZ Residential Driver (Automatic Side-Load)

The Residential Driver will be responsible for safely efficiently and courteously providing waste removal services to customers. The driver will collect solid waste or recyclables on curbside and/or backdoor routes and transporting to post-collection facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a residential / recycling collection side-load and/or rear-load truck ancillary equipment and hydraulic system to collect solid waste and/or recyclables on specified collection route.

• Ensure that service is completed in accordance with established company policies and contract obligations

• Responsible for daily pre and post trip inspections of trucks assigned

• Complete daily routes as assigned by the Route supervisors

• Satisfy customer needs for service

• Perform end of day driver check-ins to ensure complete and accurate paperwork completion

• Ensure assigned routes are completed in a timely and safe manner

• May perform some additional responsibilities as assigned by the Route Supervisors

Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) desired.

• Must possess a DZ/AZ Drivers License

• Minimum one (1) years of commercial driving experience

• Must be able to meet relevant criteria for safety sensitive functions according to Company standards

• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to safely drive the truck and operate the equipment
