What you’ll be doing
As the Process Engineer , you will be reporting to the Corporate Automation Engineering Manager and will design processes and equipment for the manufacturing environment, monitor equipment through regular testing, and provide strategic oversight of the processes being deployed. You will play a key role in a team of research, design and develop new equipment.
Practically speaking you will :
Manage new business from customer drawing through process implementation.Develop process plans, equipment specifications and process layouts, while ensuring TPS philosophy is applied throughout.Create detailed schedules to manage all aspects of project management.Lead process design reviews, participates in customer part and machine design reviews.Ensure communication between platform, production, manufacturing engineering and die design.Prepare capital budgets and capital projects and present them for approval.Ensure process implementation conforms with current laws, standards and regulations.Organize evaluation activities from initial preparation through mass production (MPE).Coordinate start-up manufacturing processes for new products.Ensure new programs meet process plans and cost targets at the Start of Production (SOP).Lead potential secondary automation development projects.Coordinate all ongoing engineering changes (ECI’s, PPCR’s) associated with their project portfolio.The Details

Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical or Industrial Engineering3-5 years’ technical experience in a manufacturing / industrial environmentExperience in using AutoCAD or SolidWorksStrong hands-on approach to problem solving in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentMS office computer skills : MS Windows, MS ProjectCapital budget management experienceProblem Solving / TroubleshootingAbility in planning and organizing, time managementDecision makingHow to Apply :
