Fire Protection Engineer - Code Consultant

Quelle sera votre contribution dans l’équipe :
Représenter SNC-Lavalin dans le cadre de développement commercial auprès de clients dans le domaine de l’ingénierie en protection contre les incendies et de la consultation en matière de codes
Rechercher des opportunités et développer des propositions compétitives
Recruter, former et gérer les membres de l’équipe
Examiner et rendre compte de la conformité au code du bâtiment et au code de prévention des incendies d’installations nouvelles et existantes
Évaluer la résistance au feu et l’intégrité de bâtiments et d’éléments de bâtiments, construits ou en conception
Produire des plans d’évacuation d’immeubles et effectuer des analyses et des modélisations des sorties
Réaliser des calculs hydrauliques et la conception détaillée (plans et devis) de systèmes de protection contre les incendies
Assurer la coordination avec d’autres disciplines en matière d’appels d’offres, de planification et d’exécution des tâches de projet
Que recherchons-nous :
Baccalauréat ou Maîtrise en ingénierie de la protection contre les incendies, en architecture ou dans un domaine connexe
Inscription au tableau de l’Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
12 ans d’expérience en conseil en matière d’interprétation de code ou d’ingénierie en protection contre les incendies
Capacité à réaliser des projets multidisciplinaires
Approche collaborative et bonnes compétences de communication

What will be your contribution to the team :
Represent SNC-Lavalin in business development with clients in the field of fire protection engineering and code consulting
Research opportunities and develop competitive proposals
Recruit, train and manage team members
Review and report on building and fire code compliance of new and existing facilities
Evaluate the fire resistance and integrity of buildings and building components, both constructed and under design
Produce building evacuation plans and perform output analysis and modeling
Perform hydraulic calculations and detailed design (plans and specifications) of fire protection systems
Coordinate with other disciplines in bidding, planning and execution of project tasks
What are we looking for :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in fire protection engineering, architecture or related field
Registration with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
12 years of experience in code interpretation or fire protection engineering consulting
Ability to carry out multidisciplinary projects
Collaborative approach and good communication skills
