Location :   Various locations across New Brunswick

As a Corporate Lawyer / Associate, you will advise clients on a broad range of corporate legal matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, contract law, and compliance. You will be responsible for drafting and negotiating legal documents, managing transactions, and providing strategic legal guidance to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide legal advice on corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards and legal regulations.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and legal proceedings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external counsel on complex legal matters.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Membership in good standing with the provincial Bar.
  • 3+ years of experience in corporate law, preferably in a law firm setting.
  • Strong understanding of corporate law, including M&A, governance, and compliance.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

    Requirements
