Position Summary

The Emterra Maintenance / Repair team is seeking a skilled and collaborative maintenance team member to perform equipment maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting across plant operations. This role includes operating power tools, maintaining conveyors and grinders, supporting production lines, ensuring a safe and organized work environment, and collaborating with the team to keep plant operations running efficiently.

Position Description

• Perform various maintenance functions such as greasing and replacing bearings, replacing, tracking and lacing conveyor belts, operating power tools such as drills, Sawzall, cutting torches, etc.
• Change filters, troubleshoot, and repair glass plant primary and secondary grinders and screens.
• Clean under conveyor belts, OCC separator, glass breaker screen and around the baling area as required.
• Navigate the touchscreens for the optical sorters, container line, fiber line and glass plant.
• Collaborate with the maintenance and production teams to ensure proper and safe operation of the plant.
• Ensure work area is clean, organized, and free of any safety hazards at all times.
• Observe safe work practices.
• Heavy lifting / pulling is required.
• Complete required courses on forklift, snorkel lift, fall protection, and confined space entry.
• Other duties as required.
