Job description

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Administrator to manage the processing of invoices, payments, and financial transactions for our client's organization in Saint John, NB. In this role you will ensure that all accounts payable functions are handled accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

  • Pay Rate : $20.00 - $22.00 (based on experience)
  • Location : Saint John, NB
  • Shift : Monday to Friday | 8 : 30am - 4 : 30pm

  • Responsibilities :

  • Maintain and update employee information, such as records of employee attendance and leave
  • Prepare and verify statements of earnings for employees, indicating gross and net salaries and deductions such as taxes, garnishments and benefit plans
  • Prepare, verify and process all employee payroll related payments, including regular pay, benefit payments, and special payments such as bonuses and vacation pay
  • Complete, verify and process forms and documentation for administration of benefits
  • Prepare payroll related filings and supporting documentation, such as year-end tax statements, Records of Employment and other statements
  • Provide information on payroll matters and benefit plans
  • Compile, review, and monitor statistical reports, statements, and summaries related to pay and benefits accounts
  • Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies
  • Code, total, batch, enter, verify and reconcile transactions for accounts payable
  • Prepare payments and distribute to vendors
  • Validate and process employee's expense claims
  • Other duties as required
  • Qualifications :

  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
  • A collaborative team player with strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a solutions-focused mindset.
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments and effectively manages tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Holds a post-secondary education in a related field, complemented by 1-2+ years of experience in a similar role
