The Opportunity
RVS invites applications for the on-call, casual position of Support Substitute (Learning Assistant) for the 2025-2026 school year. Support substitutes are called to work on an as needed basis, at any of our schools.
You must be available to work throughout the 2025-2026 school year, be accessible by telephone and internet, and provide your own transportation. Interviews will be held in person or via Zoom on an as needed basis.
Salary : $24.59 per hour

Responsibilities and Expectations
Support substitutes are called to work on an as needed basis, at any of our schools. The role may include assisting students as identified in their individualized programming plans (IPP) including those that require additional supports (e.g., personal care, toileting and feeding) as a Learning Assistant. The successful candidate will establish a rapport with students and support learning initiatives in collaboration with educational professionals to create a positive, safe, and optimal learning environment. They should be able to work independently as well as with a team, and stay up-to-date with changing technology.
