Apply, remove, and repair thermal and acoustical insulation (e.g., calcium silicate, glass foam, mineral wool, Styrofoam, fiberglass, armflex) on all types of industrial equipment.Read and interpret drawings and specifications to determine insulation requirements.Select the amount and type of insulation and the method of securing it (e.g., pin welding, wiring, banding, taping) based on surface type, temperature, location, and intended use.Measure and cut insulating material and coverings to required shape and dimension, fitting around obstructions or irregular shapes.Participate in toolbox talks and field‑level hazard assessments (FLHAs).Role Requirements
CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, and First Aid certifications required.Asbestos experience or certification is considered an asset.Positive client and coworker relations through effective communication and conflict‑management skills.Demonstrated commitment to safety, both personal and others.Self‑motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.Strong time‑management and organization skills to meet competing deadlines.Ability to work within a team and build a positive environment.Sound and accurate judgement.Professional imagePresentation, encouraging subordinates to do the same.IRATA Rope Access Level 1, 2, 3 an asset.Personal Suitability
