Summary of Responsibilities
We are currently looking for an energetic, hard-working Concentrates MH / Operator to work a permanent full-time position on Monday to Thursday (06 : 00-16 : 00) at our Alliston facility.
The pay rate is Level 4, step 1.
The Concentrates MH / Operator performs one or more of the following duties in the Hemo-Concentrates department on a rotating basis : warehouse operations, equipment set up, line operation and cleaning.
These positions will be cross-trained to support other concentrates production operations as required.
Due to the nature of our business, Baxter follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) which requires our employees to focus on cleanliness and contamination control.
Other aspects of GMP that must be observed are no makeup or jewelry in the production areas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Line Operations include loading empty bottles, inspect and pack filled bottles into cartons or gaylords, and load cartons onto skids.
Setup maintain and trouble-shoot carton forming and taping equipment and perform batch changes and support production operations as required.
Warehouse obtain packing materials, shrink wrap skids and return to warehouse, and operate carton former and taping equipment.
Perform daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks as required
Job Requirements
Successful completion of High School diploma or GED required (Proof will be requested)
Experience doing repetitive tasks
Successful completion of reach & counterbalance truck training.
Manufacturing / Quality experience in a GMP environment
Experience in food or manufacturing industry
Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment (experience working in an assembly line setting is preferred)
Seniority as defined on a company wide basis
Demonstrated good attendance in present position
Demonstrated good performance & good quality in present position
Demonstrated good attitude, utilizing Baxter’s Shared Commitments
50% of time in climate controlled areas
Equipment and tools required are : Tow Motor, case sealer
