Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Operations & Support Manager to oversee the daily operations of IT support and infrastructure services. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic foundation inputer Science and at least 10 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure administration and maintenance. Expertise in Microsoft 365 administration — including Intune, Defender, and Purview — is essential. This individual will act as a technical leader, driving critical initiatives and executing the strategic vision of senior IT leadership. Responsibilities may evolve as departmental needs change.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical support team, ensuring timely resolution of IT issues and delivering exceptional customer service to internal users.
- Manage the administration, health, and optimization of the organization’s IT infrastructure and endpoint ecosystem.
- Oversee Microsoft 365 services, including : Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Azure ADMicrosoft Intune for endpoint management (Windows / macOS devices,pliance policies, app deployment)Microsoft Defender for Endpoint / Microsoft XDR for security operationsMicrosoft Purview forpliance, data loss prevention (DLP), and informationernance
- Act as the escalation point forplex support cases and infrastructure issues.
- Lead implementation of IT initiatives and strategic projects aligned with organizational goals.
- Provide mentorship, training, and oversight to support team members.
- Maintain and improve documentation related to IT infrastructure, processes, policies, and asset inventory.
- Collaborate with business units to align IT services with evolving needs.
- Evaluate and rmend new tools and technologies to improve operational efficiency and end-user productivity.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree inputer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure administration and support.Proven experience managing and administering Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Azure AD, Intune, Defender, Purview, Power Platform).Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments.Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure, including virtual machines, databases, networking, and related services.Previous technical leadership experience with a track record of delivering infrastructure-focused projects.Forward-thinking mindset with an interest in emerging technologies such as AI and automation tools.Strong troubleshooting,munication, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.Industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified : Enterprise Administrator Expert, Microsoft Certified : Azure Administrator Associate, ITIL) are considered assets.What’s Offered
