Our large Oil & Gas Downtown Calgary client is seeking a Senior Cyber Compliance Specialist to perform compliance assessments, prepare compliance reporting, and review company policies .

This is an initial 6-month contract with a possibility of extension. The successful candidate can work % remote within MST hours.

Must-Haves :

  • 7+ years’ Cybersecurity Compliance experience performing compliance assessments, reporting , and reviewing policies & standards
  • Experience with ServiceNow GRC
  • Experience creating or analyzing dashboards , ideally with Power BI and / or ServiceNow

Nice-to-Haves :

  • Oil and Gas industry experience
  • Compliance experience supporting IT and OT / ICS environments
  • Relevant cyber compliance certifications

Responsibilities Overview :

  • Support the complete lifecycle of cybersecurity compliance assessments for corporate and ICS environments
  • Identify current / emerging security risks based on the output of the assessments
  • Perform assessments and report on cybersecurity compliance across the company
  • Conduct internal Cybersecurity audits
  • Participate in Cybersecurity Compliance attestations
  • Drive automation of security controls with a focus on continuous monitoring
  • Develop scripts to automate manual tasks and processes within the Cybersecurity Office
  • Develop PowerBI and ServiceNow dashboards leveraging available data sources
  • Develop ServiceNow GRC Compliance features, such as integration with Governance and Risk areas and management of Non-Conformances
  • Review Vulnerability Management Metrics and streamline processes to improve efficiency
  • Conduct research to maintain and expand knowledge on the latest cybersecurity controls and standards, as well as the threat and vulnerability landscape
