Job description

As the Photographer you will contribute to Lauras success by working closely with the Head of Studio Art Direction to ensure all images produced are consistent with the Laura and Melanie Lyne brand guidelines and that targets production and operational processes are respected.

How will you support the team

  • Photograph offfigure eCommerce and content images produced in studio.
  • Operate various photographic equipment such as digital cameras tethering software and professional studio lighting including flash and continuous light.
  • Effectively direct models during all shoots while proposing poses and guiding them to achieve the aesthetic for each brand.
  • Ensure eCommerce products are photographed accurately and clearly.
  • Use photo editing software to recalibrate recrop rename and export photos to retoucher following Laura and Melanie Lyne production guidelines.
  • Archive sessions images and organizes files regularly.
  • Maintain Laura and Melanie Lyne standards of quality control and art direction.
  • Ensure that all photo equipment is looked after and stored away correctly.
  • Troubleshoot any equipment errors and ensure all IT software updates are carried through in a timely manner.
  • Shoot model casting when scheduled.

Qualifications :

  • 25 years of photography experience in fashion industry
  • Advanced knowledge of Capture One and Adobe Photoshop
  • The ability to work in a fastpaced studio environment
  • Experience working in with Mac OS X
  • Experience working with digital cameras and professional lighting equipment
  • The ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Very strong attention to detail
