We are seeking an Immigration Lawyer to join our growing team! The ideal candidate brings at least 1–2+ years of Canadian immigration law experience and is in good standing with the Barreau du Québec, or another Provincial Law Society.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess client eligibility and provide expert guidance on various temporary and permanent immigration pathways.
- Lead and manage high volumes of immigration files for corporate and individual clients, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strategic execution.
- Supervise, mentor, and support case managers, providing clear direction, quality control, and ongoing training.
- Oversee all stages of file preparation, including reviewing supporting documents, refining case strategies, and finalizing submissions.
- Coordinate with clients, caseworkers, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and an exceptional client experience.
- Contribute to improving internal processes, team workflows, and quality standards across the law firm.
Key Qualifications
- Required: Law degree (LL.B., B.C.L. or J.D.).
- Required: Membership of the Barreau du Québec or another Canadian Provincial Law Society.
- Preferred: Minimum 1‑2 years of Canadian immigration experience preparing and managing temporary and permanent immigration applications.
- Strong leadership skills with experience supervising, mentoring, or guiding junior staff.
- Proven ability to manage competing deadlines and substantial caseloads.
- Exceptional communication and client relationship skills.
- Strong analytical judgment and the ability to develop clear, strategic case plans.
