Overview
Reporting directly to the Manager, Front Store Operation, the incumbent liaises, collaborates, and coordinates between various Central Office departments to support the Stores and the Field Resources on the execution of scheduling, in-store processes, and workload planning.
The incumbent coordinates programs to be implemented and executed at Store level, including the development of operational considerations and communications.
Primary Responsibilities
What You'll Do :
Supports in organizing and testing end user application to ensure WFM system is fully functional.
Develops and updates reports to support management and field resources to drive performance
Partners in the development and delivery of all WFM software training materials including written documents and e-learning solutions to ensure all training materials and supporting documents are effective, accurate and facilitate quality learning sessions.
Support training initiatives to drive overall performance.
Leads by example, ensures work is done accurately, efficiently and complies with policies, procedures and standards as well as best working practices.
This includes maintaining and validating labour standards
Develops roll out schedules and timelines and identifies change management issues, to implement the national deployment of the WFM application to stores successfully and seamlessly.
Partners in building long term maintenance plans for WFM application to ensure potential upgrades are implemented and avoid system downtime.
Creates and provides presentations and training to corporate users as required.
Assists with various Division and Enterprise projects by providing operational input in regards to store-facing program / initiative development, implementation, and sustainment from a labour process and planning perspective.
Supports projects by providing operational input and creates communication plans to provide operational direction for stores and ensures uniformity and adherence to corporate policies and standards sustainment from a labour process and planning perspective.
Assist with developing content for the bi-weekly Operational Web Meeting from an operational perspective and where necessary provide additional operational content for various communications
Required to ensure the weekly workload planning is managed from a practical operational perspective understanding all Central Office departmental needs and addressing potential conflicts and priorities at weekly meetings.
Including managing updating the Store Calendar with details on upcoming promotions, purchasing, and receiving.
Writes communications for the stores as required to provide accurate and current information to the stores in a timely manner.
Supports the development of documents, operating standards, F.A.Q’s, NSC required documents and necessary
communications to the stores to ensure adequate system information is provided and updated.
Supports Field Resources with respect to questions and requests, including identifying areas that may require solution management, and providing potential solutions.
Monitors store performance to identify, develop and implement any solutions to improve front store efficiencies and productivity.
Works with other functional areas in National Operations to improve efficiencies and productivity of day to day store operations.
Other duties and projects as assigned.

Expert knowledge of WFM application. Computer skills to produce reports, documents and presentations. Knowledge of several software packages, spreadsheet and database and system maintenance.
Draws on a number of known options to solve problems and to develop improvements.
Knowledge of Store processes including Store Operating, Merchandising, and POP Standards, inventory management, business, and accounting systems.
Strong computer skills especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience
Greater than two years of business / systems / project management experience or equivalent.
Education
Post secondary education in equivalent to a university degree or college diploma in IT / business or related field.
