If you're located in the lower mainland of British Columbia (preferably Greater Vancouver), we’d love to connect with you.About the Role : We are seeking a dynamic individual to manage key retail relationships across British Columbia and Whitehorse, YT. This role involves meeting monthly sales targets, fostering strong customer relationships, executing marketing initiatives, and ensuring the delivery of the required sales growth in the region.Responsibilities : Implement sales strategies and tactics as outlined in the Sales ProcessIdentify new business opportunities while nurturing and maintaining existing partnershipsGenerate new business through cold calling, networking, and referralsResearching the local market to understand customer preferences and identify opportunities for growthActing as the main point of contact for all inquiries and concernsAnalyze market trends, identify opportunities, and prioritize actionsFollow up on leads and referrals generated from field activitiesPrepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposalsOffering samples, product demonstrations, and visual presentations to help clients make informed decisionsAdvising on flooring formats, design, style, and installation requirements based on customer preferences and needsPresenting product options, pricing, and promotions to potential clientsNegotiating terms and pricing to secure sales, ensuring both customer satisfaction and company profitabilityStaying up to date with the latest trends, materials, and innovations in the flooring industryPossessing comprehensive knowledge of hard surface products and their installation processesEducating customers on product features, benefits, warranties, and care instructionsMeeting or exceeding monthly and annual sales targetsSetting goals and working towards consistent sales growth and revenue generation for the companyTracking sales progress and adjusting strategies as needed to reach objectivesHandling customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally to maintain strong relationshipsAddressing any installation-related issues or customer concerns and providing solutionsKeeping an eye on competitors' products, pricing, and promotional offers to stay competitive in the marketplaceLog daily activities in the Karndean Customer Relationship Management (CRM) databaseReporting regularly to management on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedbackPromoting company products and special offers through various channels, including social media, in-store events, and community outreachOversee the monthly marketing budget and promptly respond to requests from the Karndean management team Qualifications : A BS / BA degree is preferred, but not required, along with 3-5 years of relevant retail or B2B sales experienceProven track record of achieving results and a strong ability to learn quicklyAbility to work independently and manage your own scheduleExcellent verbal communication, relationship-building, leadership, and organizational skillsProficient with technology, including the use of computer-based tools and systemsStrong skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Looking for a rewarding opportunity where you can grow with a company that values innovation and creativity?
