Quality Technician

Quality Technician - Job Description :

• Perform inbound and outbound inspection, generate reports
• Inspecting goods or products according to quality and safety standards.
• Read, interpret and understand engineering drawings
• Use calipers, gauges, and other measuring devices to determine quality of parts
• Ensuring test equipment is calibrated and working correctly.
• Reporting quality anomalies to the supervisor.
• Able to perform functionality tests and understand / interpret results
• Ensuring production is not hindered by quality testing procedures.
• Identifying possible areas for improvement in quality control processes.
• Assist in trouble shoot returned complaint samples and update complaint documentation when necessary and assigned by the supervisor
• Assist in performing customer complaint investigations to determine root cause and appropriate CAPA when assigned by the supervisor
• Escalate any new, unknown risk on defects / discrepancies further evaluation and decisions
• Work with multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams to ensure the timely completion and closure of deviations, discrepancies
• Issue the corresponding NCR when deviations are reported
• Issue the corresponding SCAR when applicable to Purchasing
• Uphold Quality standards as set by the company and ISO 13485 : 2016 / MDSAP
• Maintain a Quality Assurance log of testing results
