Our client has an immediate need for a full-time ETL Technical Analyst

Location : The role will be 100% remote while COVID-19 travel / social distancing restrictions are in place. Once those restrictions are lifted, onsite requirements will be reassessed at that time.

Term : May 03, 2021 to March 31, 2022

Required Experience / Skills

  • 5+ Years
  • Familiarity with technologies related to ETL batch processing; data extraction; data analysis; and data quality.
  • SQL, python, Informatica, Active Batch, SAS
  • Experience maintaining complex ETL processes involving Financial models and IFRS standards.

Nice-to-have :

  • Understanding of Allowance for Credit Loss (ACL) processes; experience at a Canadian FI; experience with AWS toolsets

    • Description of Duties :

    As a member of an Agile Product Team, the technical analyst would participate in :

  • Support
  • Maintenance
  • Development activities related to Client's Risk and Finance ETL processes

    • Activities may include :

  • Requirement analysis
  • Solution design
  • ETL development
  • Data analysis
  • QA planning and execution
  • Data quality validation
  • Application support and maintenance

    • While ETL batch management is handled by a separate operations team, after hours on-call support may be required during critical month end processing.
