Position Details

Position : Production Operator

Location : 11105 Bridge Road, Surrey, BC, V3V 3V2

Type : Permanent; Position type : Hourly

Reports to : Production Supervisor

Work Hours : Initial training schedule Monday to Thursday 5 : 30 a.m. – 4 : 00 p.m. After training, schedule 3 : 30 p.m. – 1 : 30 a.m. Monday to Thursday.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform packaging, operate production equipment, and perform housekeeping duties as required.
• Operate equipment efficiently to produce high‑quality products.
• Prioritize safety and housekeeping in all activities.
• Know and comply with all safety rules, model programs, and production department procedures.
• Cooperate in a team environment and maintain consistent attendance.
• Promote and enforce safety among crew members.
• Develop and maintain good employee morale and working relationships within the department and with other departments.
• Assist in implementing USG / CGC Model Programs, Safety Rules, VWIs / JSAs, and SOPs.
• Carry out special projects and assignments as directed by management.
• Support the company's vision of Continuous Improvement (CI) and 5S methodology, fully engaging and contributing to these objectives.
• Other duties as assigned.
