We are looking for an Electrical Engineering Technician to join our Energy and Resources team. You’ll be at the heart of renewable energy and transportation electrification projects across Canada. We offer a flexible hybrid work model allowing you to work from home and from one of our offices in Quebec (Montreal, Sherbrooke).
Primary Responsibilities
- Design electrical plans using AutoCAD software;
- Support the design of EV charging stations of all kinds (public, private, L2, L3, MCS);
- Support the engineer in charge in the design of plans and specifications;
- Support/mentor junior technicians;
- Visit sites to determine the nature of the work to be carried out;
- Carry out field surveys;
- Carry out work supervision, in residence or as support (on an occasional basis);
- Ensuring rigorous monitoring of projects.
Qualifications
- College Diploma (AEC or DEC) in Electrical Engineering;
- Minimum of ten (10) years experience;
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and the Microsoft Office suite;
- Ability to work on different projects simultaneously;
- Fluency in written and spoken French;
- Fluency in spoken and written English in a professional context in order to work on projects outside QC;
- Valid Driver's Licence;
- Available for short‑term travel;
- Knowledge of utility distribution networks (an asset).
